With Chair Yoga, you gain the benefits of Yoga practice using a chair as your foundation and support. This is beneficial to all regardless of age or flexibility. Simple stretching, guided breath and individual adjustments aid in gaining strength and vitality. And... it's fun!
Theme chair yoga is an expansion beyond physical stretching. It is the infusion of feelings such as, Joy, Clarity, Presence, and is enhanced by music, quotes, and mantras along with chair yoga poses to open the body, mind and spirit in appreciation of your Sacred Self. This 4-week chair yoga program has a different focus for each of the first three weeks and integration of all in the fourth week.
Marianne Wyer is a retired Nurse Practitioner with 30 years experience in the medical field and is committed to offering alternative paths to wellness including body movement, nutrition and individual transformation.
