What Is Chakradance?

A moving meditation based in Jungian psychology. A spontaneous dance with guided imagery, music, which specifically resonates with the energy of each chakra and mandala art, to express the experience. We suggest you wear an eye mask (provided) as you are able to go deeper inward for a clearer experience.

I received my facilitator certificate in 2020.  I held my first class outdoors in the summer (due to covid) and it was a great experience! At this time I offer:

·  “Awakenings” (this can be followed with a 9 week course to go a bit deeper into each chakra).

·  “7 Keys to Freedom” -- this is a bit dancier and a bit shorter.

About Diana:

Hello!  My name is Diana Alexis, I discovered Chakradance when the universe wanted me to, right on time!  On my spiritual journey, I was searching for something that could bring joy to my life.  As a young girl I had taught children expressive modern dance with never ever having a lesson!  I remember how alive and joyful it made me feel and wanted to experience that again.  I have always loved expressing myself with music and art. Chakradance included all 3!

I am currently taking a new course to be able to do classes online!  You can do these classes from the comfort of your own home and still get results in your own time …stay tuned for details.  I have done classes in Harrison, Auburn and Waterford and will do private parties as well.

As for me, I live in Waterford with my supportive husband Gregg of twenty years, an elderly dog named Rosie and two crazy cats, Ash and Soot.  We enjoy travelling, eating good food, kayaking and hiking.

So if you’re curious you should definitely give Chakradance a try!  Be brave and take a look inward and experience YOU!
