$15/registration - please prepay by Tuesday, April 20@ 7pm

Need 5 people to offer - class size limited to 8 - Open to all levels.

Yin Yoga is all about release. It is a slow-paced practice that stretches the connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine) with the goal of increasing their flexibility and range of motion. 

Yin yoga involves variations of floor postures, supported by props, typically held for 3 to 5 minutes. Though poses in these classes are passive by nature, yin postures do require some effort. This effort is physical to a degree, but more so mental, as staying in deep stretches for longer periods of time is often the real challenge. Meditation and story telling will be included…a relaxing, grounding practice.
