Hypertufa Class with Michelle of Creations in 'Crete

Join us at The Sacred Self in making a succulent planter!  July 30 at 10 am, $40

Hypertufa is an interesting medium made from cement, peat moss and vermiculite.  It is very lightweight (it will float when dry!), will absorb water and plants (including moss) are able to root in it.   Succulents thrive in it.

Instructor will provide all materials and safety gear:

HOWEVER if you use one of the instructors molds you will need to return to pick up your creation 14+ days later at the center.  Feel free to bring your own mold (any rigid container that does not taper in at the top) up to 12” in diameter and bring your planter home the same day.

Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, be prepared to be outside (weather permitting) and leave rings at home as they tear gloves.

Also, if you have a latex allergy please bring your own gloves.
