Service Description

The Couples Massage Workshop is a 2-hour workshop that will guide couples in basic massage techniques that can be practiced on each other at home or anywhere that it is comfortable. The workshop will be led by Diana Mains, LMT, owner of The Sacred Self and an experienced Massage Therapist who regularly incorporates energy work into her client sessions. Diana will be assisted by Mark Van Loan, Reiki and Access Bars Practitioner, who has worked alongside Diana for the past five years offering combination sessions and energy work to clients of The Sacred Self. This 2-hour workshop will be offered at 180 Main Street, Norway. Each session will include 45 minutes of instruction and 60 minutes for couples to practice on each other. Participants will have the experience of lying on a warm BioMat heated massage table while they are being worked on by their partner. You will also have an opportunity to *feel the work by us, to share your unique troublespots, and get tips and tricks on how to help each other at home. The workshops are conducted in a safe and quiet setting, clothes on for the entire workshop. Diana and Mark will offer examples and information on how they work on one another at home, and how they incorporate intuition into their process. This is open to all - you don’t have to be a “couple”, you can bring a friend. There are no requirements other than a sincere desire to learn.
